Welcome to Marrakech, the vibrant heart of Morocco ,where the city’s
rich history, vibrant Souks, and stunning architecture await you! keep
your eyes peeled at Menara Airport for the sign for your name or
Company name, meet your driver who will assist you and transfer to
your Hotel or (Riad).
Depart from your hotel.
Your introduction to Marrakech will begin in the Medina, the old
quarter of the Marrakech. From here we will explore this
historically charming area by foot. In Jemma El Fena, you will
visit the famous 12th century Koutoubia Mosque and its
influential minaret.
Your guide will lead you through the labyrinth streets and alleys
of the Djemma. Enjoy aromatic smells, taste fresh squeezed
orange juice and venture into the souks specializing in Berber
carpets, silver jewelry, artisan workshops, handmade shoes
and tanneries.
Marrakech is a city of underground channels built by the
architects from Cordoba, Spain to provide water for the town
and Palmery. We will drive to the Lower Medina to explore
more of Marrakesh’s secrets: El Mansour mosque, the
sixteenth century Saadian Tombs with its stark towers, the
ruined 16th century El Badii palace, and the Mellah and the
Jewish quarter.
Enjoy a three- course lunch consisting of fresh salad, tajine and
fruit at one of Marrakech most delectable restaurants.
After lunch we will head north of the Mellah to visit the 19th
century Bahia palace, originally built for Si Moussa, a former
slave who became King Moulay Hassan’s chamberlain. The
palace holds a courtyard and riads decorated with beautiful
carved stucco, Arabic architecture.
Next we will visit the contemporary Moroccan Art Museum or
Tiskiwin, a private museum dedicated to popular arts & crafts,
styled as a beautiful Spanish-Moroccan house, next door to Dar
Si Said palace, a smaller version of the Bahia.
Attend the Chez Ali Fantasia and music show. Dinner served
on site. Return to your riad for the evening .
This morning enjoy a heaven of greenery and color the Majorelle garden
located in the heart of Marrakech, where you will enjoy more than 300
plant species , you will fall under the spell of this garden full of poetry
and small canals cross the garden and flow into a large pool with a
fountain where you can see water lilies and beautiful flowers . And you
will have also the opportunity to visit a small museum about Moroccan
Berber culture where you will find a collection of Berber objects from
diverse regions of Morocco.
Next we will drive from Majorelle Garden to anima garden around 45
minutes to Anima garden which is a magical place of sensuality, of
wonder, of contemplation and of inspiration. Created by the famous
Austrian artist Andre Heller , this garden of more than three hectares .
Anima offers an intoxicating view of the often snow capped Atlas
mountains with 4167 meter high Jebel Toubkal .when we finish drive
back to Marrakech and free time .
In the evening enjoy a Moroccan Hammam Spa .
Start your day trip with a scenic drive to the charming coastal town of
Essaouira. Begin by exploring the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage
site, where narrow alleys and vibrant markets offer a glimpse into local
life. Visit the historic Skala de la Ville, the city's impressive sea bastion,
and enjoy the panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Stroll along the
bustling fishing port, where you can see traditional blue boats and
fishermen at work, and savor fresh seafood at one of the local
restaurants. Don't miss the chance to relax on the sandy beaches or try
your hand at windsurfing, for which Essaouira is renowned .
In the Morning :
Our day trip to Essaouira starts around 8:00
am from your accommodation in Marrakech, and we will drive to the
coast along the picturesque road. On the way we will stop to see the
argan trees, where small goats climb the low branches to feed.
We will also stop at a women's cooperative that produces argan oil along
the way. The kernels of the tree are used to extract the oil, which tastes
great when drizzled on bread or as a complement to Moroccan meals. In
addition, the oil is used as a cosmetic to treat hair and skin. Sometimes
there can be up to twenty goats sitting upright in a single tree. To get a
good photo, you should see this amazing sight.
At the Midday :
Upon arrival at the Moroccan beach town of Essaouira at midday, we
see the vast expanse of the North Atlantic Ocean. It doesn't take long to
realize why the bustling old city is a World Heritage Site. The waterfront
is protected from past attacks by ramparts and ancient copper cannons
lining the walls.
The coastal city is home to several contemporary restaurants, and the
city's modern culture blends beautifully with its rich history. It feels like
you're traveling through time as you move from a contemporary café to
an old house in just a few meters.
On the seafront, there is a long promenade where swimmers and sun
lovers can enjoy the sandy beach and golden sands of this small town.
For this reason, when you go to the beach, remember to pack a towel,
swimsuit and sunscreen.
In the Afternoon :
Around 5:00 pm on the afternoon we will leave for Marrakech on the way
back. As the sun begins to set in the late afternoon, you will be able to
enjoy the surrounding scenery once again. You will understand why
Essaouira is a favorite destination for most travelers to Morocco when
you take this exciting day trip to Essaouira.
Get ready for an unforgettable culinary experience in
