Majestic Kasbah and Desert Adventure
5-Day immersive journey through Morocco’s kasbahs, valleys, gorges, and desert dunes.
DAY 1: MARRAKECH | OUARZAZAT | ROSES VALLEY | DADES GORGES
Pick up from your Hotel/Riad at 8:30 AM. Climb the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m). Visit Ouarzazat “Hollywood of Africa”, Studio Cinema, and Kasbah Taourirt. Stop for lunch, then drive the “Road of the Thousand Kasbahs”. Visit Kalaat Mgouna (“Rose’s Kastel”). Continue to Dades Gorge hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: DADES GORGES | TODRA GORGES | MERZOUGA
After breakfast, drive to Tinghir and Toudgha Gorges. Stop for lunch, then continue to Arfoud. Visit a fossil workshop. Experience a 1-hour camel ride through Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. Dinner and overnight in a comfortable desert camp.
DAY 3: DEEP CULTURAL AND NOMADS LIFESTYLE EXPERIENCE
Early sunrise hike on dunes, then camel trek back. Visit Berber villages, desert plateau, Khamliya musicians, and Rissani town for Souk visit. Lunch in a family house. Return to Erg Chebbi for free evening with stunning dune views. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA | RISSANI | ALNIF | AGDEZ | OUARZAZAT
Early sunrise hike, breakfast, then depart to Rissani. Visit Souk, then continue through Draa Valley with adobe Kasbahs and Berber villages. Drive up to Ouarzazat admiring Draa Valley geological formations and Ait Saoun col.
DAY 5: OUARZAZAT | AIT BENHADDOU | MARRAKECH
Breakfast at hotel, then drive to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah (UNESCO World Heritage Site). 1-hour walking tour, then lunch in Atlas Mountains. Continue to Marrakech via Tizi N’Tichka. Drop off at hotel. End of Majestic Kasbah and Desert Adventure tour.
