DAY 1 : TANGIER | CHEFCHAOUEN
We will Assist you, pick up at the airport/Hotel and drive to see the Hercules Caves, then we continuous with an excited feeling to explore more, along the typical Moroccan mountain located in North of the Rif. The holy town of Chefchaouen breathes an atmosphere of profound serenity with its blue and white charm appearing along the road. Walk around the Kasbah, the Medina, the Jewish quarter, the Berber souks, and the artisan quarters. Later, enjoy the rest of the day in the blue town.
DAY 2 : CHEFCHAOUEN | VOLUBILIS | FES
After breakfast in the Riad, we will have a free morning to enjoy extra time in the blue city. We leave Chefchaouen at noon. Our authentic journey departs toward Volubilis, the famous Roman ruins site in Morocco. We will get in touch with its great history and learn about this archaeological site. Later, we will continue to the historical city of Fes.
DAY 3 : FES CITY TOUR
Your licensed national guide will meet you after breakfast for a fascinating historical tour of the spiritual capital of Morocco, Fes. The city, nestled in the hills, is mystical and magical. You’ll be transported in time as you visit the most beautiful madrassa in the nation, Al Kairaouine. Wander through the ancient medina and souks. Visit the photogenic tannery and learn about the first steps in processing hides into the beautiful leather handicrafts available around you. At the end of the formal tour, return to the riad for a rest or continue to independently discover the city. The rest of the day is free.
DAY 4 : FES | IFRANE | MIDELT | ERFOUD | MERZOUGA (DESERT)
After breakfast, we hit the road to Ifrane. We stop by the lion symbol that sits in the heart of the town — carved by a German soldier during WWII. During this journey, we experience glimpses of the Atlas Mountains. Stop along the famous cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where you may see the Barbary apes. Lunch on the spot, then we drive to Merzouga via the Anti-Atlas. Carry on down the road via the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through limestone mountains, stopping for panoramic views along the way — seeing the dense canopy of palms wedged between ancient striated cliffs which date to the Jurassic period. Then it’s straight to the impressive Erg Chebbi dunes. Later, embark on our camel ride for an hour through the stunning dunes — the clean air and the beautiful sunset will provide us unforgettable moments. We continue to the camp after sunset where you will be welcomed with tea and nuts. Dinner and overnight stay in a luxury camp.
DAY 5 : SAHARA DESERT | TOUDGHA GORGES | DADES VALLEY
Enjoy breakfast in the camp before we start our adventure trip. We will visit the surrounding Berber villages and get closer contact with the Berber culture. We drive to Rissani, an ancient capital for the Alaouite Sultans town. Drive towards Toudgha Gorges. The alluring beauty of the lush palm grove along the valley is known for breathtaking views. Driving the windy and thin road will get our full attention as we get into the Gorges, allowing you to feel the unbelievable glory of the massive canyon walls. We then continue to Dades Valley.
DAY 6 : DADES VALLEY | OUARZAZATE | MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we drive to Kalaat M’gouna, “the Rose City”. Carry on to Skoura and drive through the “Road of the Thousand Kasbahs” to Ouarzazate city. We stop by The Atlas Studios — the world’s largest film studio by acreage — and continue to Ait Benhaddou. It’s an infamous kasbah and the backdrop for many Hollywood hits such as Gladiator, The Mummy, and Alexander. Crossing the dramatic Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2260m), we arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.
