We will start our adventure by picking you up from your Riad at 8:00 AM and hit the road! Check out the great views as we climb through the dramatic Tizi N’Tichka pass which reaches an altitude of 2260 M. On route to Ouarzazate “the Hollywood of Africa”, we will journey through the High Atlas Mountains passing by Berber villages and beautiful landscapes. Once we are in Ouarzazate we will be enjoying lunch, maybe it’s time to try some great local cuisine. Later on, drive through the “Road of the Thousand Kasbahs” and view the fascinating sand castles. Stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “Rose’s Kastel” known for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May, and then continue to our hotel in the heart of the Dades Gorge. Dinner and night in the hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, we depart the Dades Gorges driving towards Tinghir and Toudgha Gorges. The lush palm groves along the valley offer breathtaking views. Driving the winding road will get our full attention as we enter the gorges, where you’ll feel the massive canyon walls rising some 300 meters (900 feet) high. We’ll stop for lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to Erfoud where we will visit a fossil craft workshop. This area is also our doorway to the gorgeous dunes of Erg Chebbi. Take a moment to soak it all in while having a cup of tea before embarking on a camel ride through the stunning dunes. The clean air and the sunset will take your breath away before a traditional dinner and overnight in a comfortable luxury camp under the stars.

Wake up early to climb the dunes and enjoy a magical sunrise over the Sahara. Afterwards, ride your camel back across the dunes to meet your driver. After breakfast, depart to Rissani, the ancient capital for the Alaouite Sultans and once the most important market town for sub-Saharan caravans. Visit the local souk before continuing toward Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley, one of the longest palm groves in Morocco. Admire the charming Kasbahs and Berber villages along the way. As we approach Ouarzazate, notice the interesting geological formations of the Draa Valley and Ait Saoun col. Arrive at your hotel in the early evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Kasbah Taourirt, a magnificent historical monument that once belonged to the Glaoui family. Then visit the Cinema Studios before heading to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, located 30 km from Ouarzazate. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has served as a backdrop for many famous films such as Gladiator, The Mummy, and Alexander. Explore the Kasbah and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. Continue to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi N’Tichka pass. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening for a relaxing night at your Riad or hotel.
